Sean Parker is an American entrepreneur and philanthropist, most notable for co-founding the file-sharing computer service Napster, and serving as the first president of the social networking website Facebook.
Parker is a catalyst for brilliant ideas. In combination with the right people, it becomes fuel, without which you cannot create a revolutionary company. When he was 19, he turned the music industry upside down by inventing Napster. Two years later, his startup Plaxo demonstrated the potential of social networks, which he later helped to realize as the president of Facebook. He was expelled from all the companies, but it is pointless to deny his influence on them.
I have always chosen to ignore the conventional wisdom in favor of the ideas that interested me.
